Will you still work if it's raining on the day when I move home?
Of course, we still work and we take every precaution to make sure that your home furniture and precious items are kept dry and out of the rain.
How far in advance should I book a home removalist?
Obviously, you need to give us as much time as possible and ideally, you should be well prepared and book your home move with a furniture removalist at least 1 to 2 weeks in advance.
What should I look for in a home removals company?
The very best thing you can do before you decide to go with a home removals company is to check their Google reviews. Sure there may be 1 or 2 bad reviews but have a quick look through the bulk of them and make your choice. Be selective and be very aware that some home removal companies will create fake reviews. Also, give them a phone call and see how quick they are to respond. This will give you an idea of how punctual and responsive they are.

How long will it take to move me?
It takes to move your home furniture depends on many variable factors. These include; the time it takes to load all the furniture onto the truck, get everything ready in the truck, such as securing your items and if we have to use a lift or have a large piece of furniture which may require extra time. Plus, we have to take weather conditions into account, plus the time it takes to drive between your home and your following premises. The more work you do before the home move (like packing everything neatly in boxes and labelling them), the cheaper your home removalist cost will be. Remember, every home move is different. It can take from a few hours to a full day. Our goal is to let you know the timing in advance to know what to expect.
Are there any other additional costs involved in the home moving services?

Can I help the home movers?
You may assist the home movers while moving items from your house to the truck. But, we cannot allow you to enter the truck for insurance purposes. Please remember our job is to make you home move as easy as possible so the best thing you can do while we are moving is relax and let us do the hard lifting.
Do you carry pot plants and BBQs with your home move?
With pot plants we recommend not watering the plants 3 to 5 days prior to moving house. There is also no need to bubble warp the pot plants as we will take super-good care of them. We are able to transport the BBQ but not the gas gallon for safety reasons.
Do you provide home removal services to country areas in NSW and interstate?
Yes, we do service all types of home removals services to residential country and interstate areas throughout Australia. If you are planning to move anywhere interstate we are more than happy to help – just ask us.

If my booking with another removals is cancelled, can you take an urgent home moving booking?
In most cases, yes, we can offer you a priority home removals service; however, this may be subject to our schedules and availability of drivers, trucks and removalists.
We have been able to help many customers in the past throughout Australia who has booked with 2 Men Removals after cancelling from other removalist companies. However, to avoid adding extra stress to your move experience, it’s recommended to book your home move with us in advance.
Do you provide free home moving boxes?
When you take out our packing and unpacking service we are more than happy to provide free boxes as part of our service offering.
Can you dismantle and reassemble my items?
We can dismantle and reassemble your tricky furniture items for you. Usually we have the tools on the truck, although it would be good if you could let us know prior to our arrival or when you make the booking so we are always fully prepared.
